This is the breakfast or brunch ideas for you to use the left over buttermilk or when you need a quick breakfast or brunch. You can simply toss it from the freezer and heat it in the non stick pan. Easy and Quick.

Blueberry Pancakes with Buttermilk

Ingredients :

  • 1 1/2 cups self-raising flour
  • 2 tablespoon white sugar
  • 1 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1 egg. lightly beaten
  • 1 tablespoon melted margarine
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1/2 cup bluberries for the sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of white sugar for the sauce

How to make :

  • Sift flour into a bowl, add sugar, buttermilk, egg and margarine.
  • Beat it until the batter is smooth.
  • Pre-heat a non stick and spray the frying pan with cooking spray over a medium heat.
  • Cook pancakes one at a time by pouring it with soup ladle. Best if you have an egg ring to keep the same pancake size.
  • Add blueberries into the uncooked batter in the pan.
  • Cook  pancakes for approximately 1-2 minutes or until bubbles appear in the uncooked batter.
  • Turn the pancake over and cook for a further 1-2 minutes.
  • You can serve it immediately or keep it in the freezer to eat. Leave it cool completely before put in the freezer.

How to make blueberries sauce :

  • Add blueberries to a saucepan and bring to a gentle simmer. Add 1 tablespoon of sugar or less. Add some water if you want the sauce a bit runny.

I really love chocolate as many other woman in the world love them too. Eating chocolate in the right way will give some benefit in our body. You need at least 70% cacao for that healthy choice.
I have this overnight oat chocolate recipe that is super delicious. I really love and always make it whenever I crave chocolate. At least I have no guilt feeling after I finished this whole jar. 

Chocolate Oat in a Jar

Ingredient

  • 2 teaspoon of Cocoa powder (You can add or reduce it as you like)
  • 1 cup of Banana
  • 1/2 cup of Strawberries
  • 1/2 cup of Greek Yoghurt (substitute Low Fat Plain Yoghurt) 
  • 1/4 cup of Low Fat Milk (substitute Almond Milk) 
  • 2 tablespoon of Oat
  • 2 tablespoon of Chia seeds

How to make

  • In a jar, add the Oat, Chia seeds and pour the milk to soak them.
  • Blend the Banana, Strawberries, Greek yoghurt and Cocoa powder together until smooth and pour it on top.
  • You can serve it immediately or keep it overnight in the fridge.
