Recently I like to eat Overnight Oat in a jar. It is because they are easy to prepare, healthy and delicious. I bought mango in the local supermarket near my house on a good deal around $3.5 for 3 and if I buy each, it will cost me $1.45. And I was lucky to get the sweet mango.

So to prepare this Oat is simple and just need a few minutes to prepare. Try it and let me know if you get addictive like me.

Mango Overnight Oat in a Jar

  • 2/3 cup of Low Fat Milk (substitute Almond Milk)
  • 2 tablespoon of Oat

  • You can do this step on the next day when you are ready to eat or the night before : Cut the mango into small chunks and put it on top of the yoghurt.

I always stock frozen bananas in my freezer. It simply because they are blend so well with any fruits similar like apple do. The reason why I freeze bananas, it is because I want to serve the smoothies in cold without adding ices. And also I didn't put any sugar/honey because I feel the banana already has natural sweetness.

When put the banana in the freezer make sure they are ripe enough. Usually I will wait for 1-2 days after I bought them. And also always buy fresh banana and put them in the freezer rather than bought the frozen banana in the store. They likely to have lesser potassium than the fresh banana that you freeze. Potassium is a very important mineral to the human body, they plays a vital role in regulating the fluid levels in your body

As in here in Singapore, I always bought Dole or Del Monte banana brand as they taste good and sweet. Let me know if you've tried other brand that is good too.

So here the simple banana smoothies recipes that I like to make.

Banana Smoothies

Ingredient

  • One Frozen Banana
  • One cup Greek yoghurt
  • 1/2 tablespoon of lemon juice

How To make

Cut the banana into smaller chunks for smooth blend and combine it with the greek yoghurt into the blender. Put the lid on the blender and blend it.
You will need to drink or serve this immediately as banana will turn the colour into brown colour.
