i've bought this instant package when I visited Amsterdam. They are actually sell many type of this instant package in every supermarkets. But I could only find this in Holland. When I visited Paris, I couldn't find the same brand and type. I've tested the bolognaise sauce before and tasted good. My auntie always brought this brand, so i'll assume that the taste will good too.

To cook this is super easy.
Firstly, I cook the macaroni according to the instruction in the package and drained them. Next Step :

1. Heat 2 tbsp liquid margarine in a saucepan or frying pan and fry the garlic and champignon mushrooms

2. Pour 500 milk and add the contents of the sachet. Bring it to the boil, stirring. You can add the diced ham and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes

3. Add the cooked macaroni and stir the macaroni and sauce thoroughly until combined. Add some permesan cheese to give a taste and mix. Turn off the heat.

4. Serve in with additional parmesan cheese on top.

Note:
You can replace the mushrooms with 500g broccoli florets. Boil the broccoli for about 5 min.

Replace the ham 150g peas (frozen) and 10 sun-dried tomatoes in oil, cut into strips

Serve with a salad of cucumber and tomatoes, add 1 tablespoon olive oil and 1 tablespoon balsamic azijn.

Easy peasy!!

The taste of course delicious. It just tend to dry but it still has the creamy taste. A quick meal when you have limited time to cook. Good to try!!

I wish they have sell this in SG.

I have another bread recipe to share and this one is also easy for me. You could try this recipe at home.

Actually I have left over strawberries at my fridge and What I could think of it is to make a caramelized strawberry sauce. Thats simple and easy. So I made egg toasted bread layered with chocolate spread and strawberry sauce

how to make strawberry sauce, you will need :
1. strawberries cutted in small pieces
2. white sugar
3. water

Cook the strawberries and white sugar in the sauce pan. Add some water inside, don't add too much cause the sauce will become too watery. Till the strawberries like melted and you can turn off the heat.

To make egg toasted bread, you will need:
1. egg
2. bread
3. cinnamon powder
4. vanilla syrup

Beat the egg and whisked it, add some cinnamon powder and vanilla syrup as you like then mix it. Dip the bread inside the mixture for both side and leave it for a while.

in the non stick pan, you can toast the bread that has fully coated with a little butter until turn into slightly brown. that's it!

Spread the bread with chocolate sauce and the strawberries sauce. Ready to eat!!

What you need is :

1. Bread

2. Half can of Tuna ( i use Ayambrand light Tuna )

3. Little butter

4. One Hard Boiled egg

5. Mayonaise

First, toast the bread with a little butter for both side.

In the separate bowl add hard boil egg and mashed it and mix it well with mayonaise and tuna. Just saute them in a hot pan for a while(no heat needed). After that just put them on top of the toasted bread. Add a little mayonaise on top if you need.

I've made strawberry peach tea shake and it tasted good and refreshed. Just a simple recipe to make. If you live in SG you can buy Pokka brand of Ice peach tea and also prepare 5 pieces of strawberries and chop them into small size. Blended all together and voila it's done. I just pour it in a glass and add strawberry on top.

Recently I eat thick toast at the Toast Box. The stall selling at the 313 Somerset, SG has more variety/flavor like Milo thick toast, Floss thick toast, etc. And when I visited Toast Box at Junction8 Food Junction, they only sell Peanut butter thick toast. Although I am not a fan of peanut butter, I gave it a try and wish that it would be good. It still not good for me, cause the peanut butter was spread all over the bread. But I do like the Milo thick toast.

This is the Milo thick toast that i've ate it during the weekend when I was waiting for my kid to finish playing in the playground next to the stall.

And this is the Peanut butter thick toast i've ate for dinner 2 days ago.

So I decided to make it myself a version of Milo thick toast and it is really easy. i figured it using the ingridient that i have. Most of the recipe I search online is using condensed milk. But I don't think it is necessary, you can also use nutella or any other chocolate spread brand. I've my homemade cream chocolate sauce that I made before. Also bought some thick toast that already cutted into 1 cm thick. i bought my bread at Bread Talk, they do sell variety of the bread.

This time I made a version of Ovaltine thick toast.

First, toast the bread with some butter in top. I am using my oven and just toast it for 10 min in 150 C Degree or you can roughly see when the bread start to a little bit brown. When finished, i spread the bread with my homemade chocolate sauce and add the ovaltine powder on top. And it's done. If you use condensed milk you can pour a little bit of the milk on top.

Here is my version of Ovaltine thick toast

it was easy and delicious. You can save your $2 spend at Toast Box

i've bought Betty crocker chocolate chips dough last week and baked them. Surprisingly really easy to make and tasted good too. This kind of chocolate chips cookies you could find in the Subway restaurant. I did made chocolate chips from scratch last time and didn't tasted this sweet. And also the texture of the cookies really soft and not crispy which I like it. They comes with the semi sweet choc chips inside so that you don't need to buy the choc chips again.

You only need to buy butter and use only half of it. I use approx 125g and mix it well with the dough. If you don't have the butter you can use vegetable oil and add some water (follow the instruction behind the package). Now the important part is when you bake them, make sure you give the 2 inch spaces between each cookies. I did gave only 1 inch space in between and end up they mixed each other and the edges is not perfectly baked. So the cookies like very fragile and easy to break.

But it solved when I tried to separate them and baked another 5 min for the edges to perfectly baked. Excuse of my Impatient!! hehe. I follow their instruction for how long the cookies to be bake. Rougly is around 10 mins to baked. But also very important when you take the tray out, don't rush to take the cookies out of the tray. Let it cool for about 5 mins and just move them into a plate. Hot cookies are still soft and fragile, it needs time for them to cool and set. That's it!!

I admit that I am still newbie in baking. I did learn to bake when I was in junior high school. That time We have a cooking subject at the school. I don't know if they still have it now. My grandmother also used to cook everyday and sometimes made some snacks for us. She had the old vintage oven at our house last time. But I am wondering where is the oven now? It was pretty fun when you bake, sometimes very iritating too when you get your kitchen in a mess and you have to clean it by yourself!! hahaha But the reward is when the cookie is done you'll not stop eating!!

This is my second last tray of baking. I baked them for 6 times and take turn with the the other tray which is smaller size compare to this tray. And this tray only fit for 9 cookies. Can you see the gap? That is the perfect 2 inches gap for choco chips cookies.

I did added some chocolate chips on top cause I still have left over from the previous baking.

The temperature that i use is around 175 C degree. I just follow the instruction behind the package. And I also just use two spoons to arrange them in the tray and not ice cream scoops like what I always saw in the baking video. But it just fine to use what ever tools you have at home. Maybe next time I will try to make it from the scratch again. Cause too much instant food like this also not good for health cause you'll never know what inside. hehehe. Happy baking!!
